Text Box: It is so important that all Commanderies plan and have a meaningful observance for Christmas, Easter and Ascension Day. It’s nice when we can invite family and friends to join with us for our observances.  
While it is a bit early to announce our Easter Observance, however, Chillicothe Commandery #8 will host its annual Christmas Day Observance at our Stated Conclave, Tuesday, December 28, 2004.
Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Ohio is formulating a trip to Alexandria, Virginia to observe sunrise services and will be in attendance at the laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Text Box: I’d like to see no less than 50 drill teams this year.”  At the last stated Conclave, Sir Knight R. Joseph Shilling proposed that Chillicothe Commandery #8 field a drill team for the 2005 competition.  He urged all Sir Knights to consider participating. Practices would be held at the stated meeting on the 4th Tuesday.  If you can assist in this endeavor please contact the office at 774-3485, please leave a message if necessary.
Text Box: In a communication to subordinate Commanderies Arthur D. Michael, Jr., KCT urges them to consider fielding a drill team for 2005.  He writes, “ When you talk about Ohio, you atomically think Drill Teams. We have no equal when it comes to drill competition. It never fails when you are talking to Knights from other states, the same question comes up, “How in the world do you do it?”  Well Sir Knights I have the answer. It’s the challenge of competition to be the best. Sir Knights in my eyes, you are all champions. Effective immediately, we will not longer be open late on Friday evenings, instead will remain open until 8:00 pm on Monday and Thursday evening.
