Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. installed its officer for 2005—2006 Tuesday, November 22, 2005. Most Worshipful Brother Charles Neff,  Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Ohio served as the Installing officer for the evening. Installing Marshal for the ceremonies was Worshipful Brother Keith Bost, Past Master of Scioto Lodge. Right Worshipful Brother Roger Bost, Past Master of Scioto Lodge, and a Past District Deputy Grand Master, served in the capacity of Installing Chaplain.  Right Worshipful Brother David V. Medert Past Master of Scioto Lodge and current District Deputy Grand Master of the Seventh Masonic District served as Installing Secretary. The date of the installation is of some significance in that it was held on the 200th Anniversary of the first meeting of Scioto Lodge #2 F. & A.M. in 1805.
Installed into their elected or appointed offices were: Worshipful Master Michael B. Haller, Senior Warden	       Ralph Cyrus, Junior Warden Terry Deal, Secretary W.B. William Bennett, 
Treasurer W.B. William Landrum, 
Senior Deacon Dan M. Riddle, Junior Deacon Paul Bennington, Senior Steward Corey Bennington Junior Steward Larry Eyre, Chaplain W.B. John J. Vanek, Lodge Education Officer Neil Zizelman, and James D. Willis, Tyler. Worshipful Brother Harley Thomas was re-elected to his position of Trustee.

Registration was held in the lobby for all arriving guests who were presented with the commemorative issue of a lapel pin and coin. The evening began at 6:00 pm with a banquet catered to 135 Masons, their ladies and guests, in the Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M.

Text Box: The Seventh Masonic District Past Masters’ Convocation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2005.  Orient Lodge #321 will host the day’s events which will begin with breakfast at 8:00 am, the meeting will begin at 9:00 am. All Worshipful Masters-Elect are required to attend this meeting.  It is open to any Master Mason who wishes to attend. District Deputies Grand Master David V. Medert, Tim Martin and Loren L “Les” Bower will brief all those attending on the Grand Master’s plan for the 2006 Masonic year.
