Text Box: The January issue of The Trestle Board contained an article regarding the acquisition of new hardware for our computer.  The program is called “The Phone Tree” and will be utilized for making automated telephone calls to members in the regional area of Chillicothe.  These calls will contain very brief messages such as reminders for Stated Meetings, upcoming special events for Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. (degree conferral, Fish Fry, Ladies and Widows Night Banquet, Top Scholars Banquet, Veteran’s Night Banquet, Past Masters’ Night, Annual Meeting, Fellow Craft Team practices, Masonic Funeral Service notices and other messages of Masonic interests .
The Chillicothe York Rite Bodies has underwritten this project and will be participating financially to purchase the system.  Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will pay 50% of the total purchase price, while Chillicothe Chapter #4, Chillicothe Council #4, and Chillicothe Commandery #8 will each pay 1/3 of the remaining 50%

Text Box: Companion Robert S. Jones Deputy Master of Chillicothe Council #4 received the “Albert Scholl Ish Sodi Award” at the annual inspection, Saturday, December 10, 2005. This is the first award of it kind and the recipient is selected by the Illustrious Master.  This award is in recognition for outstanding contributions to Cryptic Masonry in the Chillicothe York Rite Bodies. The award is named for the oldest Past Illustrious Grand Master who served Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons from Chillicothe, in this case it is Albert Scholl serving as Illustrious Grand Master in 1925—1926.  The Inspecting Officer Right Illustrious Companion Humble noted in his Inspector’s Comments that…”Illustrious Companion Jones was surprised and very appreciative of being chosen the first winner of this award.”  The award is a joint effort between the inspector and the current Illustrious Master of each Council.  The Sixth Arch created the award but the Illustrious Master [selects the recipient].
