The annual inspection of Chillicothe Commandery #8 will be Saturday, March 20, 2004.  An informal, light lunch will be served at 1:00 pm. The inspection is slated to begin at 2:00 pm with Eminent Grand Junior Warden Richard L. Speer being the inspecting officer. Sir Knight Speer plans to arrive around 12:30 pm. A Full Form Opening will take place at  4:30 with dinner being served Text Box: An Evening of Dinner and Dance will be featured Saturday, March 6, 2004 in Waverly, Ohio. The event will be held at the Family Life Center of Grace United Methodist Church at 104 South High Street, Waverly, Ohio.
Social will begin at 6:30 pm with dinner following at 7:00 pm. Cost per person is $15.00 and reservations should  have been made by February 26, 2004. Some photos in

Text Box: Saturday evening there is a planned visit to the music theatre to see ‘Dancing in the Streets’ with music from the 40’s through the 80’s. The return is planned for early Sunday morning. Costs are $300.00 per person/double occupancy and includes travel, tips, three night hotel stay, Friday night dinner and Saturday’s music theatre event, and two days admission to Williamsburg and three continental breakfasts. Text Box: Sir Knight Don Forquer has requested this information be disseminated to all Sir Knights. A weekend bus trip is being planned Thursday, May 20th—23 2004. The bus will leave Lancaster, Ohio with stops in Athens and Belpre, Ohio. Coffee, juice and donuts will be served.  Lunch will a quick stop event and arrival at the Best Western Patrick Henry Hotel in time for dinner (on you own).  Free Continental breakfast. The Patrick Henry is 1/2 block from the historic area. Dinner on Friday will be at Campbell’s Tavern. Saturday will be spent with revisits to the historic area, or shopping at nearby shops. Text Box: Page #

 Committee Finalizes 2004 Program

Text Box: The Plan of Action and Milestone Committee was formed Tuesday, September 4, 2001. This committee was appointed to oversee disbursements, investment options and management of funds bequeathed to Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A.M. by Ms. Margaret Moll the widow of Brother Moll, who passed away in 1986. Working with the Masonic Temple Association to identify various projects to upgrade the building.  Additionally, funds are allocated for projects undertaken to improve the facility and provide better service to the brethren.  
Identified as projects in 2004 are: refinishing the armory floor—a shared project with Chillicothe Chapter #4; Cleaning and Repair of Ceremonial Robes used in the second section of the Master Mason Degree; little league sponsorship of “The Rockies”; Ross County Junior Fair participation; 2004 Scioto Lodge #6 Scholarship partial funding and three separate exterior projects to refurbish the North wall at the rear of the building to include some fire escape work.
