There is a sign up sheet on the registration desk in the blue lodge anti-room for anyone interested in becoming a coach. However, if you are a line signer you may be asked by Brother Riddle to take on the responsibility to coach the petitioner. You may contact Brother Riddle at 773-7433 if you want to assist.

The Lobby Directory

Text Box: week in May and are payable at each of the three annual meetings in June 2004.
Presently there are SEVENTY (70) member of the York Rite that have yet to submit their 2004 dues. A second billing was sent to all those whose dues have not been paid on March 30, 2004. Please submit your unpaid dues as soon as possible, it would be most helpful in maintaining the records and keep suspensions to a minimum
Text Box: For the coming Chillicothe York Rite year, a new 2005 dues payment envelope is being introduced. For those York Rite members who are brethren of Scioto Lodge #6 you will recognize the format as being similar to that which you receive annually in October for your blue lodge dues. If you are only a York Rite member in Chillicothe, this will be new and perhaps very unfamiliar to you. The 2005 annual dues for all Chillicothe York Rite Bodies will be mailed the first Text Box: As with many groups, civic and fraternal, those whose membership affiliation is contingent on the payment of annual dues, Scioto Lodge #6 is not much different. Forty-three second notices were mailed March 1, 2004 to brethren of Scioto Lodge #6. Some were miss directed because of similarity of name or other causes and will be re-sent to the particular brother. To date twenty-six brethren have yet to submit their 2004 annual dues. One final attempt will be made to ascertain if there are hardships or illnesses related to the non-payment of dues. The list of unpaid dues will be read in open lodge to enlist the assistance of the brethren attending to see if there is information we do not have at our disposal that may affect our decision to suspend for non-payment of dues. This will take place May 31, 2004 and be retroactive to December 31, 2003. Call me if you have questions 774-3485 or 775-0724.

Second Dues Notices Mailed to Scioto Lodge #6 Members

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO REGISTER WHEN ATTENDING MASOINC FUNCTIONS?

It is VERY important and the reason is VERY simple.  When the chairman of a specific event plans his menu it is vital to have some estimate as to the history of attendance at past  banquets.  For example,  attendance at Ladies and Widows Night Banquet over the past five years is broken down as follows:

1999—61

2000—57

2001—66

2002—43

2003—35

While we rely on reservations for special events, and reservations are important, we use average number to facilitate projections on attendance could be based on registration sheets.  This is done for all banquets so, PLEASE take a moment to register on registration sheets that are provided.

THANK YOU.

William Bennett

Secretary
